Airtel Money, a mobile wallet (m-wallet) service, is new initiative from Bharti Airtel. This service will enable ‘airtel money’ customer to load cash on their airtel mobile phones & use it anytime, anywhere to recharge mobile & DTH, pay bills for mobile, fixed line, utilities, shop at over 7,000 merchant outlet and so on.
Initially, Airtel launched its ‘Airtel Money’ service in Delhi NCR and expanded it to Chennai in 2011. And now Airtel has expanded this service in 300+ key cities across India.
Airtel money provide two type of account:
Express account customers can recharge mobile/DTH, pay bills for mobile, fixed line & other utilities (electricity, gas, water etc.)
Power account customers can do much more like booking movie tickets and paying at thousands of stores.
